Gentle, Trauma-Informed Support for Nervous System Regulation & Embodied Wellbeing

I’m Gayle, a somatic practitioner passionate about body-first healing. Since 2017, I’ve been supporting people to reconnect with their bodies, build emotional resilience, and restore balance in their lives. My work integrates trauma-informed yoga, somatic practices, embodied mindfulness, self-compassion, and nervous system regulation to help you get to the root of your challenges—so you can move beyond simply understanding your experiences and start embodying new ways of being.

I’ve spent years studying with leaders in trauma healing, somatic experiencing, and nervous system regulation, drawing from evidence-based models like Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY) and foundational trainings with Peter Levine and other experts in the field. I share this work through trauma-informed yoga at the Risdon Prison Complex and women’s shelters, as well as group therapy programs and 1:1 somatic sessions in my private practice.

Through my own lived experience of healing complex trauma, I know firsthand how life-changing somatic work can be—and how it’s often the missing piece for those who feel like they’ve tried everything to heal. My approach is always gentle, non-judgmental, and led by you, creating a space where you can safely explore what it means to truly feel at home in your body.
